About ANS.EIN X Kelly Ser Atelier
The ANS.EIN X Kelly Ser Atelier collaboration was borne out of serendipity and the mutual admiration of 2 local Singapore brands led by female founders. Both brands fell in love with each other’s talents – the versatility of ANS.EIN’s designs and the mesmerising combination of colours and contemporary creations by Kelly Ser Atelier.
Artwork inspiration behind the dress
The artwork featured in this collaboration is titled ‘PARADISE’ – one of thirteen pieces in the ‘Transformation’ collection.
The free flowing movement of the acrylics remind me of the waves by the beach on a summer vacation – the flowy sway of coconut tree leaves with the cool sea breeze, and the ripples on the water surface painted by curious snorkellers. The rippling draws a parallel to the butterfly effect – how a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state, and the criticality of doing good and well through our actions.
